My journey as a designer started out in Architecture. Graduating from one of India’s leading Architecture Universities, my architecture practice was very conventional, crafting functional living, and working spaces while occasionally exploring Interior Design to flex my creative spirit. However, a pivotal moment led me to switch my career path towards becoming a Creative Technologist, immersing myself in the experiential industry. After four years in this dynamic field, I still find myself grappling with the nuances of this evolving role. Some days I fail to define what it distinctly means and some days I recognize its intrinsic similarities to my architectural background.
For fellow architects who, like me, sense the constraints of mainstream architectural practices in India, I offer a beacon of exploration that the vast realm of creative technology and experiential design awaits.
