Following an organizational meeting held on February 17, 2026, the Friends World Cup team is pleased to announce a new annual partnership with Olivotto Glass Technologies and OGT Solar, which represents an important milestone in the tournament’s continued growth and consolidation.
The Friends World Cup is an independent, non-profit youth soccer tournament for players aged 14 to 19. Created to provide a healthy, inclusive, and highly competitive environment, it allows young athletes to showcase their talent while developing essential values such as teamwork, discipline, fair play, and respect, both on and off the pitch. Over time, the competition has grown from a local initiative to a structured international youth soccer project, increasingly attracting the attention of many families and sports professionals who recognize its educational and sporting value.
This year’s edition will take place from June 30 to July 2 at Le Fornaci Sport in Beinasco, Italy. Eight national teams will compete in a dynamic format designed to ensure intensity, engagement, and non-stop action throughout the three days of the tournament. With short matches and a compact schedule, the event aims to maintain a high level of competition while maximizing player engagement and visibility. This partnership also holds strong symbolic significance, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of Olivotto Glass Technologies, a company founded in 1946 and internationally recognized as a leader in the hollow glass industry. OGT Solar further strengthens the technological and forward-thinking vision of the CNBM Group, active in cutting-edge sectors such as thin-film photovoltaic panels, reflecting a shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and long-term investment in younger generations.
Special thanks go to Massimiliano Iuli, Pierluigi Terzuolo, Gilberto Frola, and President Sergio Sarvia for their fundamental support in making this agreement possible. Thanks also go to the organizing committee, Lorenzo Iuli, Michele Mallardo, Samuele Levizzari, and Simone Levizzari.
