The 2025 Ritmo Latino Entertainment Awards, streamed live on Instagram and broadcast on Telemundo Puerto Rico, honored the best in Latin music, with Bad Bunny leading the night by sweeping seven major categories. His wins, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Single of the Year, reinforced his reign as the undisputed king of Latin urban music.
Originally scheduled to take place live at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, the event transitioned to a fully digital format, ensuring its global reach remained intact. The ceremony, which began at 9 AM, featured pre-taped performances and heartfelt thank-you speeches from some of the winners. Karol G took home awards for Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Touring Artist, while Bad Bunny’s album Debi Tirar Mas Fotos reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard Latin Albums Chart. His chart-topping single “DtMF” earned him additional honors.
Other major winners included Latin legends Shakira and Karol G, as well as international sensation Taylor Swift, who claimed Favorite International Artist. Independent artists also had their moment to shine, with Kedward Avilés, Samuel Mancini, and Eric West emerging as breakthrough stars, securing major wins across multiple categories.
